Lahore is the heart and the cultural capital of Pakistan. It is the second largest city and the capital of the Punjab province. Lahore is at its best in March being the peak spring season when the city becomes even more vibrant and colorful.
Marketing Association of Pakistan Lahore, holds its fourth International Marketing Congress (MARCON 2011) from March 7 to 8, 2011 at Pearl Continental Hotel, Lahore
The conference was attended by around 500 delegates from Pakistan as well as abroad and can rightly be claimed as the largest gathering of marketing practitioners, planners, professionals, consultants and students under one roof.
New bench marks were set as compared to previous MARCONS of 1996, 2003 and 2006 in terms of its value to the delegates and in organization of the event. Special focus was given to the selection of the speakers as well as to the format of the event to create a fresh feeling of originality and value.
Spread over two days marketing congress had six working sessions in addition to an inaugural and a concluding session. About 450-500 delegates comprising CEOs, Directors and senior/middle level Marketing Professionals participated in the congress. The theme of MARCON 2011 was “Leading in Crisis”. A galaxy of top class national and international speakers made presentations and share their experiences with the participants of the congress.
MARCON 2011 was organized by the Marketing Association of Pakistan - Lahore. MAP is a premier body representing around 2000 marketing practitioners and professional in the country, this association has made significant contribution towards promoting the understanding of the discipline, encouraged new entrants in the field and constantly supported those who either sought or found their career in marketing.
