Marketing Association of Pakistan (MAP) Lahore is pleased to announce its 3rd seminar of the session 2018-19 on “Pushing the Informal-Formal. Economic Transformation and the power of Social Entrepreneurshipon Tuesday, July 10, 2018 at 5:00 pm at Summit Hall, Royal Palm, Lahore.

Ms. Mehvish Arifeen the COO and Co-Founder of Gharpar, will be the Guest Speaker.

Ms. Mehvish Arifeen has experience in financial product innovation for the base of the pyramid and has worked with Kashf Foundation, Tameer Bank and CERP. She is a graduate in Ethnomusicology and Development Studies from the University of California, Los Angeles and completed her Masters in Human Development and Social Enterprise from the Fletcher School at Tufts University in 2014. Ms. Mehvish Arifeen Co-Founded GharPar, a tech based beauty services platform with three other Co-Founders in 2016.  GharPar is the first start up of its kind in Pakistan and is on its way to empowering hundreds of Pakistani women and men from low income communities by helping them achieve financial independence. GharPar started in Lahore and has plans to expand to other territories in Pakistan in the near future.

Members are free to participate, while participation charges for Non-Members are Rs: 1000/- per person.
